Beginning in 2006, new RYS applicants will have to meet the revised standards described in the "Standards" section of the web site. Those schools already registered by 2006 will have until the beginning of 2007 to meet these revised standards. Graduates of Registered Yoga Schools (RYS®) are eligible to apply to register as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®s).
