Massage for the Cure
Massage for the Cure is a great way to enjoy a wonderful, relaxing massage from Massage Envy while helping find a cure for breast cancer. The one day event is sweeping the nation, and coming to a clinic near you soon. Massage for the Cure is a guaranteed success, so the events are held annually at participating clinics to benefit local affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
All you do is call your local clinic and make an appointment for a 1-hour massage session for the day of our Massage for the Cure event. Instead of paying us for the massage, 100% of your donation for the massage goes to benefit the local affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Massage Envy works with local Komen affiliates so the majority of the money donated stays in your community, helping give back to our friends and neighbors.
Why Susan G. Komen for the Cure?
Massage Envy searched for the right charitable partnership, and with our typical membership demographic made up of the same demographic as those most likely to be affected by breast cancer, our CEO, John Leonesio, believed this partnership with Komen, which we will grow year after year for many years to come, would be the perfect fit. "Too many women have lived in fear of breast cancer for far too long. It is my hope that our annual event will raise awareness about the importance of early detection and early treatment so we may help those diagnosed with the disease increase their chances of survival", Leonesio has said.
The Massage Envy family is proud to support a cause that affects not just those diagnosed with breast cancer but those who love them as well. With the help of our guests and members, we've already raised nearly $358,000 during our Massage for the Cure events. We are grateful for your continued support and generous donations!
Your Invitation to Help Us Make a Difference in Your Community
When Massage Envy's Massage for the Cure event visits your local clinics, we hope you'll accept our invitation to relax while doing something for a great cause. It's like getting a pat on the back for doing something wonderful, only it's a massage, so it's really that much better!
